Here's another take on an almost-all-black look, this time with a printed black and white top and a pop of color in the earrings. I mentioned this before, but I've been gravitating towards neutrals lately, and I think it's because of the weather, it makes for no- fuss outfit planning on cold wintery mornings. But don't worry, as soon as it warms up enough I'll be all about that color again!
My favorite part about this outfit, besides the casually sophisticated ripped-jeans-meets-silk-blouse combo, is the print mixing with the bag and the top. Since they are both in the same color scheme and both play with round shapes the combination is visually pleasing. From afar the prints don't clash, and up close they only compliment each other! Adding some heeled booties, classic jewelry, and a pink lip helped this outfit transition wonderfully from work to a friend's Friday night birthday dinner.
