I may have just discovered my new favorite shoe designer....! I have always been a fan of colorful crazy shoes that make a major statement, and just the other day I stumbled upon
Sophia Webster shoes, and boy are they amazing.
I found her shoes when I was looking through the sale items on jcrew.com and fell in love with this gorgeous pair of
Sophia Webster for J.Crew black and bronze heels with contrasting polka dots and stripes (pictured above). After reading the description about the shoe and this young designer I promptly looked up her website and fell in love with
every single pair of shoes. They're simply stunning. While a lot of her designs are boldly colorful and patterned, there is also a selection of simpler shoes, though certainly not without some fun detail.
I have always loved scrolling through images of whacky Irregular Choice shoes, and their more wearable sister brand Poetic Licence, not to mention my love of the gorgeous Charlotte Olympia styles. The designs by Sophia Webster are equally charming and fun, but are a touch more elegant than Irregular Choice and something bold and fresh enough to rival the beloved Charlotte Olympia. What is it with these British ladies and their fabulous shoes? I feel like I might need to move to London or something...
